Susan McGiver featured on the cover of Success magazine

We are proud to announce that our CEO Susan McGiver is featured on the cover of the latest edition of New York State’s “Success” magazine!

Susan was selected as “Entrepreneur of the Month,” for leading her family business into its third generation.

In the article, Susan talks about how she used to work at the plant as a teenager during her summer vacations, and the importance of family connection as motivation for maintaining a successful business. She even passes on a few words of wisdom from her parents – that success comes with hard work and knowledge, responsibility and respect.

When Harry Kintz founded The Harva Co. in 1949, IBM was only beginning its effort to reduce computers to the size of just a large room. And Thomas Watson was fighting the move to magnetic media – reel-to-reel tapes.
